The Free the Seeds! fair is almost here! We’re excited to announce a new edition to the event: a raffle for a hand-built compost tumbler, with materials generously donated by Sliters Lumber & Building Supply. Even if you don’t win, you can learn to build your own in one of our workshops.

In keeping with our 2020 theme of reducing waste, we’re going to try something new: Tool Swap! Simply bring the items you want to swap, and swap them for items of a similar value. Here’s how it works: 8-10am: Bring your labeled items to the Tool Swap table by 10am. You will get 1 ticket for every point you contribute. 5th annual Free the Seeds! fair is on

Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 7th, 2020 for our 5th annual Free the Seeds! fair. The fair will be held once again at Flathead Valley Community College in the Arts & Technology Building. Where to donate seeds

Did you know your saved seeds can be donated before the Fair?  Drop-off locations are Kalispell, Columbia Falls, and Bigfork ImagineIF libraries, Eureka Library, Whitefish Library, Camas Organic Market in Hot Springs, and The Good Seed Company in Whitefish. Look for the box near the entrance marked “Free the Seeds.” Please package and label your seeds with: 1) common name and variety, 2) city/town where collected, and 3) year collected. The…
