2018 Workshop Schedule Now Online

The 2018 Free the Seeds! workshop schedule is now available online! Learn about beekeeping, raising chickens, food preservation, converting lawn to garden, fruit tree pruning, and dozens of other topics. We invite you to participate in community conversations on connecting farmers to chefs, recycling food waste, protecting local sources of food with seeds, and sustaining school gardens. Volunteer at the 2018 fair

Want to help make the 3rd annual Free the Seeds! Seed & Start Fair a success? We have over 75 volunteer slots to fill, and your help is much needed! The volunteer signup sheet is online this year. Volunteer slots are first-come, first-served so go to the signup sheet now to get your choice of times. You can sign up for more than one slot (as long as they’re at different times, of course)….

Where to donate your seeds

Did you know your saved seeds can be donated before the Seed and Start Fair?  Drop-off locations are Kalispell, Columbia Falls, and Bigfork ImagineIF libraries, Eureka Library, Whitefish Library, and The Good Seed Company in Whitefish.
